These next couple of weeks are about to be crazy and by the time I start and finish my days the gym will be closed :'(. So I have to be creative and find ways to get my intensive workouts in. I found this on youtube and I plan on doing this workout on the stairs in my building. Wish me luck!
My body still hurts from my session with my Personal Trainer!!!! Craziness! So this week is crunch time at my job while we prepare the final touches of the RD and RA training. I am nervous about all these training's for alot of different reasons. One I don't know when I will find time to exercise, all we do is eat basically, and I want to make a great impression during the training's. So much pressure!!!!! Oh well I'm just gonna to be me and either they love it or hate it (hopefully love it lol).
I met with my personal trainer for the first time today and lets just say I am already feeling it. Don't you love it when your body aches from a good workout?! Maybe its just me :o).
Yesterday as a staff we went out for lunch and went bowling and it was quite fun. I ordered a blackened tilapia sandwich and it was soooooooooooooooo good (and yes I ate bread yesterday, oh well lol). Then after work I did my weight lifting class and my body was feeling it all night long. I guess that was my punishment for not working out last week.
Man, I feel great that I am back into my routine now.
So today is the first day of my challenge and I am feeling great!!!!! Already got my morning workout in, oh how missed them! The only thing I am worried about today is lunch because we are going out for lunch at work, that means I have to be a good girl ugh!!!!! Anyways, tonight is Zumba and weight lifting!!!!
Oh and by the way I have started looking for my bday outfit..... Hopefully this will give me even more motivation :o)
So I have been slipping on my pimping for real!!!! Last week was a disaster to the point that I didn't even go to my Weight Watcher Meeting! Just horrible. But you know what I'm not going to let it get to me. I have a new mindset and plan for this up-incoming week/next 6 weeks.
I have come up with a challenge for myself. "Birthday Get it Right, Get it Tight" challenge. I am determined to be in the 180s by my birthday NO EXCUSES. I want to rock a fly dress and heels for my bday even if I have to go to dinner all by myself lol.
I believe last week I slipped pretty bad because I was just bored with EVERYTHING! My food, my exercises, just everything. So for this challenge I'm going to switch things up for real! Each week I'm going to add new music to my workout playlist (very important), change my exercise routines up, and try new recipes/foods.
Some of the things that I want to try during these next 6 weeks are:
no bread (or little of it)
more veggies and fruit (5 a day)
more weight lifting
start running outside....... ugh!
trying new workouts (looking them up on various websites/magazines)
no to little sugar
drink LOTS of water a day
one week I want to try to be a vegetarian lol yea I can only give it a week
So what do you all think?! Should I try other things?!
I have to GET IT IN these next 6 weeks. Wish me luck!
While I was on the treadmill at my gym the Lady who started Operation Beautiful was on the Today Show. I truly believe what she is doing is quite amazing and I had to share it w/all of my lovely followers.
Here is the mission from the website:
The goal of the Operation Beautiful website is to end negative self-talk or “Fat Talk.” If this little blog only does one productive thing, I hope it helps readers realize how truly toxic negative self-talk is — it hurts you emotionally, spiritually, and physically.
She goes around writing positive things on post-its and leaves in places that others can find. I truly think is a great thing to do because so many people in the world view themselves as negative. Aw just reading the website is making me all fuzzy in side :o)
